Visually, the logo needed to be bold, colorful, yet easy to read and easily recognized. It also needed to abstractly represent why Cityscape Design was created and what it offers. The three color choices all complement one another with hues taken from two primary colors and one secondary color, represent the wide array of tones used in the designs. The ‘skyscraper’ shapes allude to the Cityscape Design skylines, abstract designs of cities’ most popular and recognized landmarks.
With a 16pt cardstock and a soft aqueous finish, these business cards required the same strategy as the logo: bold aesthetic and a strong representation of the designs. I always lean towards a less is more visual strategy and wanted to keep this design simple. These business cards are many times the first impression of what I do, so it was important to create a clean, fun, and branded design. TIP! I get compliments on these business cards all the time- I ordered them from Smartpress! Check em out because these cards were crazy affordable too.
If so, send a note! I'd love to hear from you.
