Kelsey’s brother is a friend of mine and this is when networking shows one of its many benefits. It is such a great feeling when clients put all of their trust in you and your work, a gift that makes me want to work even harder to get every single shot just right. State college rivalry
didn’t get in the way of this couple’s story:
How did you first meet? What’s the ‘story’ that by now you’ve told at least 34 times?
Ben and I met in college through mutual friends. He went to KU and I went to K-State. I came to Lawrence one weekend to visit some friends and met him while hanging out in a KU dorm. We talked over a few months and eventually started dating.
What really describes you as a couple since you’ve been dating? What brings and keeps you together?
We love to cook together, watch TV and movies together, watch sports together, and love to hang out with our friends. But the number one thing that brings us together and keeps us together is our faith in God.
What were both of your favorite parts of your wedding day?
We loved the feeling of walking down the aisle after just being pronounced husband and wife, hearing our maid of honor and best man show their love in the speeches they gave, but our favorite moment was during the last song of the night. Ben and I jumped on the dance floor and before we knew it all our family and friends created a circle around us. We felt so much love in this moment. At the end of the song everybody came in and gave us a group hug.
What is the best marriage advice you’ve received so far, or is there a quote or verse that you love?
The best marriage advice that we have received is to keep Christ at the center of our marriage.
Congratulations to Ben & Kelsey, you made our job so easy and we loved being a part of your big day!
